Footyboots4men.com sponsors local Dorking player

Footyboots4men.com are pleased to announce that they have signed a boot sponsorship deal with Sam Phillips Sawyers of the Dorking Colts.

David Hender, Managing Director of Footyboots4kids.com Ltd, the company behind Footyboots4men, says that he first took interest in Sam after seeing a picture in the local paper, the Dorking advertiser. 'We are keen to encourage young players by providing up-to-date boots to improve their game and Sam fitted the bill' he said.

Footyboots4kids.com Ltd has now signed two players in the last two weeks. Roseanne Thomas, the Welsh Hockey Union's under 16 top goalkeeper, representing Footyboots4women and now Sam Sawyers , from the Dorking Colts, representing Footyboots4men .

After looking through the website, Sam finally decided on a pair of Puma Esito firm ground boots and a pair of Puma Esito soft ground boots . Although not leather, he found that the fit and comfort of these boots was ideal for him due to his wider than normal feet.

Sam started playing football when he was six years old for Ockley Acorns . With this team he won many games and tounaments and was elected Captain at the age of 7 years. Whilst he was with the Ockley Acorns, he won many "man of the match" trophies as well as "player of the year", players' player of the year" and "manager's player of the year" on numerous occasions.
At the age of 10 years he moved to Dorking Boys and was captain again and won manager's player, players' player, for a couple of years running. With "Dorking Boys" he won the league cup.

At the age of 15 he moved to Dorking Colts, which is where he is now and the team have won the league for the last three seasons; the last season they were unbeaten.

Sam also plays for a mens' team Dorking Wanderers who also won their league last year.
